Squash Pro Shop is owned by Anil Gidwaney, a PSA (Professional Squash Association) level 1 certified squash professional. Anil was born in Madrid, Spain and has lived and played squash in Hong Kong, Japan, India, France and the United States.

Anil has been playing squash since childhood and has been teaching squash since 1987. Anil is currently the squash professional at Northwestern University where he offers private lessons. Anil was responsible for getting Air Canada to sponsor a tournament at Northwestern University from 1988 – 1995. This annual tournament attracted top squash players in the Midwest.

Anil has won several Illinois State Championships in singles and doubles and has also won a National Championship representing Illinois in the National Team Championships. Anil has also won numerous other tournaments.

Anil has a great passion for squash and has extensive knowledge about the game and equipment. Anil is currently on Dunlop’s advisory staff and has previously been on Prince’s advisory staff.
